Welcome to New Haven of Hope. We have been serving the Terre Haute urban community for over seven years now.

Our community outreach programs and youth initiatives are designed to help those in need, but by offering a hand up rather than a handout!

We do not require that you belong to any particular church or religious group or that you financially support our organization in any way.

We do ask that you return one good deed with another and perform an act of kindness. This way, the cycle of compassion and goodwill continues indefinitely.

We also ask that you actively participate with us in helping us to reach your friends and neighbors and help spread the love!

Pastor Timothy Van Winkle is, himself, the son of a minister and was born and raised right here in Terre Haute, Indiana.  Pastor Tim and his wife, Sister Melanie, were called to serve in Terre Haute's most economically challenged neighborhood 13 years ago.  They quickly answered the call and bought property on Kent Avenue that they have continued to develop over the years as they successfully raised three children of their own together.

Pastor Tim and Sister Melanie are always looking for volunteers...

because together, we are better!  Our doors & hearts are always open. Please join us for the weekly programs and activities you will find outlined within the pages of this website.

You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Galatians 3:26-29
